The Aachen Mandala contains numerous symbols and landmarks that are very typical of Aachen. On closer inspection, the crown and orb of Charlemagne, a European emperor of the 14th century can be discovered. In the center you can see the main landmark of the city; the Aachen Cathedral, as well as the Town Hall and other famous sights.
