Tattoo Prep & Session Guide
Avoid alcohol & drugs for 24h before your appointment
Arrive healthy, well-rested and having eaten
Wear clothes that can get ink on them
Bring enough time so we can work without pressure
If you have diabetes, a bleeding disorder or take blood thinners, please get a medical clearance before making an appointment
We can take breaks anytime -just let me know
Allow your body to get lots of rest afterwards
Tattoo Aftercare
After Your Appointment: Keep the second-skin bandage on for 2–3 days. Remove it carefully and wash the tattoo with lukewarm water and fragrance-free, pH-neutral soap using only your hands. Let it air-dry and apply a thin layer of Panthenol/Bepanthen or tattoo ointment 3–4 times daily. Shower normally but avoid soaps/shampoo on the tattoo.
Healing: Mild redness, swelling, and flaking are normal. If bleeding or fluid continues beyond three days, contact me or a doctor.
Please avoid: Scratching or picking, sun exposure & tanning (4 weeks), swimming, baths & saunas (4 weeks), heavy workouts or stretching (7–14 days), tight or rubbing clothing, shaving the area
Long-Term Care: Keep the skin moisturized and protect your tattoo with SPF 50 to prevent fading. Enjoy your new tattoo!
